I mourn the simple FACT that are pets don't live as long as we do. Since my hubbs and I have been married we've owned three doggies...
1. Our BELOVED Silky, Gretch. Who was way to young to pass...only 2 years old.
2. Our beautiful, graceful, Haleigh the Sheltie. She was as elegant as she was kind. She was 10.
3. Our current hearthrob, Mollie the Molinator, our Yorkie. She is almost 7 and I pray for 10 more years with her...
I've decided the only way I could honor Gretchy and Hal was to give Mollie a wonderful home...and when it's time for her to go...after some healing...I'll welcomed another little "something" into our family.
Hi Marsha, Gosh, No words to make you feel better yet, But, know how very sorry I am for your puppy love loss !! They are like family members.. Sooo sorry !! Hope you find a smile today.. hugs ~tea~xo
I wish someone had given Jesus a dog As loyal and loving as mine To sleep by His manger and gaze in His eyes And adore Him for being divine. As our Lord grew to manhood His faithful dog Would have followed Him all through the day While He preached to the crowds and made the sick well And knelt in the garden to pray. It is sad to remember that Christ went away To face death alone and apart With no tender dog following close behind To comfort its Master's Heart. And when Jesus rose on that Easter morn How happy He would have been As His dog kissed His hands and barked its delight For The One who died for all men. Well, the Lord has a dog now, I just sent Him mine The old pal so dear to me And I smile through my tears on this first day alone Knowing they're in eternity. Day after day, the whole day through Wherever my road inclined Four feet said, "I am coming with you!" And trotted along behind.
I just found your blog. I love what I see. You have great taste. I'm adding myself as a follower. So sorry to hear about your furbaby. Bless your heart.

From our little old California Beach House we create custom Chandeliers and Lighting using old and new parts found at flea markets, garage sales and thrifts along the coast.
We live a laid back casual life style - mostly white decor, always creating, redesigning and whitewashing.
It's all about mixing old for comfort, new for fresh and everything inbetween that just makes you feel good.
We love lighting, vintage pillows and bedding, vintage table linens, old china, seashells and shell art, beach art, market bags, baskets, sea style wall decor, signs, frames, stationery, jewelry - everything faded, loved, striped and nautical.
Everyday is a day at the beach.
